Where Will You Be When the Floodwaters Rise? -- The Canadian Experience
*
Canada's lost land doesn't look like much and it isn't -- compared to her overall size. But given how dear arable land and suitable urban sites are in that nation, she will face an interesting race between an in some ways improving climate and the same dislocations and agricultural shortfalls facing most nations, as unstable weather patterns make conditions less than ideal for almost any crops.
Meanwhile, if Canada does manage to settle down and adjust to the new climate, she'll still have to concern herself with all the other refugees in North America, some of whom will inevitably come north. Forcing Canada to try and control a population that could theoretically become larger than her own.
